metamorphosis of life

this is the cast of my preganant body with Lucy comfortably resting inside preparing for her journey into humanity.

the water spirite encompasses all the elements. water (tail) . earth (flesh) . air (wings) . fire (heart) .

the moon has a dark violet line that represents the journey inside the womb, to the symbol in on the right thigh. the symbol is Lucy's birth signs: Taurus sun, sagitarius rising, leo moon.

i will be displaying it in the "secret life of women" exhibition- a combined show of work created by women who may not have explored their creative side until meeting at 'the womens room'. it will be a beautiful unique exhibition that has expanded the meaning of art.
